MANILA, Philippines — The Philippines has been one of the biggest exporters of erectile dysfunction pills and Viagra for years.
“Erectile dysfunction is the most prevalent sexual condition in the Philippines,” said Dr. Roxane Prado, the director of sexual health at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Prado said he was surprised by the high price of Viagra in this market, but said that the country is still struggling to find a solution.
“It’s hard to compare with other countries and the government is trying to help,” Prado said. “The problem is that it’s hard to access and that’s not a problem for many people.”
Prado said the problem is not just that it’s difficult to access and the government is working with health and social programs, and it’s difficult to get an erection for a price that’s too high.
“There’s a lot of myths about it,” he said. “We’ve been trying to find some solutions for the problem.”
Viagra is approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the Philippines and is available in several other countries.

Prado said that there are other ways people can access these medicines and also the government is willing to help them.
“It’s very difficult to provide access for people,” he said. “I can only give a prescription to people if it’s the right one.”

“It’s difficult for the government to take a hard look at it. We have to look at it. We’re talking about a lot of things. It’s difficult,” he said. “It’s hard to talk about it. It’s very difficult to give you a prescription.
